Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic

The Don Pepin Garcia Cuban Classic was on Cigar Aficionado’s Top 25 list all the way back in 2007, and was the first cigar to be made in the My Father factory in Esteli, Nicaragua. The cigar has a rosado Habano wrapper over a blend of Nicaraguan binder and fillers. These are available in four sizes, Belicoso, Robusto, Toro and 6x60 and are priced between $7.40 and $9.00 in a no or low tax state. I went rooting around the humidors looking for one of these, there were a couple of the “Blue”, but sadly none of the Black banded Cuban Classics. I suppose a stop by the local shop is in order!
